All about The Dahlia Wood
I’m Hati, founder of The Dahlia Wood.
In 2022 I created The Dahlia Wood with a gentle ambition to provide locally grown cut flowers for floral displays and bouquets.
It started as a passion for growing and a desire to create a business through diversifying the use of our land, but it has turned into SO much more.
We’ve created wedding flowers, farewell tributes and gift bouquets; sold countless stems to florists; and run a number of workshops within our local community.
Whimsical, romantic & a little bit wild…
We are unapologetically in love with our flowers. They dictate every decision we make when it comes to floristry. We let the bendy stems and arching branches give movement to our designs and the colours….ok, don’t get us started on colour, we’re obsessed.
It’s not ALL about the flowers though! Our care for the land and environment, coupled with the joy of connecting with local people, helped us quickly form the values that we now live and breathe by.

We will always use sustainable growing practices which really means that we don’t use chemical fertilisers, pesticides or anything that is understood to be harmful to our environment. We use only homemade or peat free compost to feed our soil. We minimise single use plastic as much as we can, with our aim to eliminate it completely. We reuse whatever we can and are proud that our gift bouquets are sent out in fully recyclable & compostable packaging.
The Dahlia Wood is your local flower farm and offers slow grown, seasonal Welsh flowers.
Things have evolved a fair bit since setting up in 2022. TDW is now run by a micro team of me (Hati), Laura and Ellie. We love flowers and we LOVE our people.
